While being at FOSDEM I attended a talk about rygel, an UPnP MediaServer written for Gnome using Vala. Writing plugins seemed dead-easy, and in fact it is 
So I came up with two plugins:
- One exposing all media files in a folder via UPnP
- One providing easy access to the ZDF Mediathek
While the second one is still somewhat under construction, I hereby present you screens of the first (Which I mostly hacked up for testing my whole Renderer – Control Point – Server chain)
